Novelty

My first day back in the office in over a year. I had a three hour morning slot. A strange feeling of familiarity and difference.

It was a beautiful sunny morning for my visit and the site looked stunning with the mature trees and oak woodland newly in leaf. So peaceful too.

Even more fun (albeit rather daunting), I had a photography/video making project to complete. Afterwards I collected several bags of personal items from my office (and was a bit shocked by how many different varieties of tea I had stored in my cupboard!). Then I met a colleague for a lunchtime walk - such a novelty to chatter and walk - we’ve not seen each other since March 2020.

Now feeling very tired!
