Shame about the pylon
Out before 9am to go for a walk whilst the sun was shining as the forecast was for rain and hail showers later. (It didn't turn out as bad as forecast though it wasn't as sunny as early on).
We went up KInpurney Hill, a short steep climb, and had great views. There's an old "observatory" on top (never really used) and the windows provide good frames for the views across the Vale of Strathmore to the currently snow-topped Mounth. I couldn't resist making a collage of the views and putting it in extras - yes, I know that's a bit of a cheat.
The main pic is down to the valley and the lines of trees caught my eye.
It was cloudier by the time we got home but it was still only late morning so I sowed a few more seeds to germinate indoors, cooked the lunch, started bread making and ate lunch - all before 1.30pm!
Sewing and odd jobs this afternoon
