Bacon Roll & Chocolate

Here's Arlo outside the polling station meeting the local Presiding Officer (yeah, it's Mrs C herself). Mrs C has been working in a number of elections for a while, eventually getting a placement in our local polling station and this year was the boss. Apparently it was busier than normal, even in these covid times with more postal votes, which could be for several reasons too difficult to work out... we'll find out at the weekend. After this photo Arlo and I got pelted by hailstones and soaked by the time we got home.

The title of this blip is a reference to a local community film made in 2011 which I recently referred to, but the stars of 2 scenes in front of this red door were interested in Bacon Rolls and Chocolate, and happened to be working with Mrs C in the hall. The concidence of that are quite remarkable but makes no sense to anyone who hasn't watch the film.

The extra attached was after I voted, which was a shame since I am sure it was giving me ideas who to vote for.
