Sally Mair - Loving life

OTT

I noticed this when our for a walk this morning. I don't think I've ever seen similar. This house appears to be having a new upper area or roof repair, not sure what. The whole thing is covered by a large plastic sheet to protect it from the weather. A sign of the time perhaps.
Out for a walk this morning a good call as I managed to miss the worst of the weather. Popped into the charity shop later in the morning and bought a beautiful set of Royal Doulton cutlery. I popped in to see Ali then went out to the Maybury to pick up the shoes I had fitted yesterday. I can't believe I've bought my first pair of running shoes at this ripe age.
We had a really tasty moussaka for dinner tonight, I can't remember when I last made one. It's amazing what you do when you get veg in your veg box that you don't normally buy.
We watched the last two episodes of series 5 of LoD, in two stages as rather sneakily the final episode lasted 90 minutes rather than the usual hour. We had to leave before the last half hour to go out at 10pm to clear the church hall of all the Polling Station equipment. There is so much waste these days as everything is single use. All that beautiful strong cardboard which the booths are made of goes straight to recycling. Let's hope the result of the election is the best for Scotland.

Keep safe everybody, and stay healthy.
