In the beginning

I had to do some deliveries today, in preparation for an Election Day tomorrow. I was in this road, which was a delight as I spoke to some old and lovely ex-neighbours. This is the road we lived in when we first got married, and we lived here for 8.5 years.

On the right is the fence that ran along our back gardens and the road I’m standing in is a cul-de-sac so it was perfect for a Jubilee street party in 2002. It was such hard work but it really pulled our street together.

It’s where our eldest 3 learnt to ride a bike. It was a great place to live. We just outgrew our house. I’ll add an extra of the front view.
