800 Blips!

Not an official Blip birthday, but it's still a milestone.

Tried out the scroll saw earlier, guess which number it was doing when it broke.....

Slow day today, got the wood in for Rancho's bathroom and might do that tomorrow, then I can get the surround up on Monday when I have some help, get the drywall up and get the whole lot mudded. The new bathtub and surround are about an 1-1/2" thinner than the old one, so I'll have to put some pieces up against the stud wall to compensate. It'll be fun, but I have to be a little more careful with the new tub whilst doing it. It could be a case of adding studs (to the existing studs), and then screwing in the bath to give it strength before finishing off the studs.

It's really strange, but once I get to mudding the bathroom will rock along to the end really quite quickly; mudding, sanding, mudding, sanding, drywall primer, painting, trim work. And at that point I'm literally clearing out of finished rooms.
