Super busy day at work. I had planned to go into KB in the afternoon to setup a piccolo system. The plan was dashed because I had to pick up my new glasses. So bike ride in the morning to KB, get the system running again (see extra - 4 raspberries is good). Then ride into town to pick up new glasses. I can see again. My normal pair has an anti-fogging coating that we tested this evening when we delivered Green eve of poll cards and I had to run up and down all the neighbouring stairs. The coating did work reasonably well. 

According to my calendar the electrician will come tomorrow to replace all the lights in the stairs with LEDs. Up until recently the stair lighting was essentially street lighting and looked after by the council. A few years ago this was one of the services that stopped being provided by the council. The lights seem to regularly blow. So hopefully the LEDs will be lasting a little longer.
