roadside colosseum

May bank holiday. After weeks with no or very little rain it is cold and rather damp. Obviously, as soon as we left Edinburgh to head West it started to rain. By the time we got to my parents-in-law it was bucketing. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a couple of hours chatting in the garden shed/under the gazebo. We hadn't seen them since last August. Drive back to Edinburgh and car club car safely deposited in its place. Traffic was really busy. Glad to be rid of the car again. 

I blipped a similar view of the gasometers a couple of years ago. I wonder how long they will last.
