Cookie Cutters

Felt so tired today. Did not want to get up!

Had to do boring supermarket stuff then take Betsy to softball. All the way there and back she wanted to talk about To Kill A Mockingbird. She is so passionate about the books she loves. As she reads, she almost inhabits the stories, thinking about them all the time, re-reading the bits she likes best, talking about the ideas and how they are written and constructed. She is going to love studying English Literature.

When we got back, Al had a friend over who is staying the night. They disappeared and apart from 20 minutes shovelling down spag bol in the kitchen, I have barely seen them since. I will catch up with them in the morning. We have promised we will make biscuits.

Which is why I bought some new cookie cutters.
