Party in the Park

Catching up with more friends is just wonderful! Tonight it was a get together in a local park - with chairs which made me giggle - as my friends were right - far more comfortable than sitting on a picnic blanket. Also a lot warmer as it was biting cold sitting on the grass - roll on the warmer weather.

Highlight was a a friend who is head of a local primary school saying that when she returned after the latest lockdown to delivering live assemblies  to the littlest children - they all went, "she is the lady off TV"!

The strangest thing is the general sense of, life is just 'it is what it is' - in that we have so little control over out lives at the moment that planning for anything just really isn't happening - makes you realise how usually you spend so much time with others talking about future plans.
