Better in than out...

They are desperate to be outside but it is truly awful out there..the howling gale and pelting rain would soon kill 'em off.  Sadly all the cherry blossom and on my amelanchier are all blown away... that is the way of it.  

Daughter walked in wild west coast weather today but the result was water in the charging socket of her phone so she has turned it off.. hope it dries out and starts working again..  (anxious mother alert!)

Blue tit.. sitting in the nest yesterday and today being fed by a rather chubby male.. he has such a struggle getting through the doorway that you can almost hear the pop as he lands slightly unceremoniously beside her and offers the titbit. Still cannot see more than 4 eggs but it is a deep little cup so  I suspect there may be more
