My Mum

Today is my Mum's birthday.  She would have been 106!  This is a portrait that an RAF Officer painted of her back in 1946 when she had been demobbed from the WAAF and joined my Father who was still stationed in Northern Italy at Udine.

The extra is one of her sitting on the side of his Spitfire during the war.
