Tom

Isn't she (yes Tom is a she) just gorgeous.....she showed such poise, elegance and patience.  My blip is when she was in the shade, so has a cool look, there are others in my extras of her and another hawk which were taken in the sunshine.  I was lucky to get one airborne just, with more sky than anything.  
Then we went indoors to where the Little Owls were, they are all recovering from various injuries and just adorable.  Please take a look.

The hawks and the Little Owls are part of the New Zealand Raptor Trust (hospital)....and are doing incredible work.  We all had an opportunity to put the glove on and hold Tom, she was very accommodating to our Monday afternoon photography group. 

Before that I enjoyed brunch with friend and blipper twigs from Nelson who has been holidaying in this area, mainly up country doing amazing photography with her drone and cameras.  Take a look, the blip I have put the link to is ICM, but her extra on that day is a stunner. This one is also breathtaking, wow !

All in all, a great day.
