Saturday 2021 — The Rock
I often display a photo of Morro Rock (captured from my iPhone SE) from the side window of our little purple house, but rarely do I trim away so much of the photo. I thoroughly enjoyed that a wispy veil was surrounding the rock this morning. For a short bit it was completely covered in thick foamy cloud; all of it except the tip-top.
This first day of a new page on the calendar begins “Anniversary Month” for the two of us. So veils are appropriate.
We enjoyed a casual Saturday by taking a drive north on Highway 1 to Cambria. I wanted to stop at the Vineyard Church’s “Re•Create” store, which is one of the nicest thrift stores in this region. They are only open Thursday -Saturday.
We also walked the pups in Shamel Park; which is a favorite place for them. It’s on the edge of the ocean. The sea was unusually rough and rather angry acting this afternoon with lots of wind that was quite chilly, so we did not walk for long and we were back to the car.
From California’s Central Coast
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
