Bonne Fête du premier mai!

As with French tradition I wish you all a good 1st  May and give you a little bit of Muguet/ lily of the valley to bring you luck!

So far I've done precious little except make the above!  the sun is shining so hope we will be off for a walk after lunch!  

Edit:  We’ve just been for our walk and the goslings have hatched!  They were on the other side of the lodge so at full magnification of my camera!  Added a shot in extras.  So exciting! Reckon at least 4 but mum was keeping them under her wing.  It’s a cold day!  Dad stayed near them, mostly ‘on guard’ but here he’s taking a quick snack! 

Anyone studying French might like this listening exercise!
