Roly's Life

By Roly

Doh!

The day started well with me doing work bright and early from bed. I love it when that happens.

It went rapidly downhill around 8.30am. I headed to the bathroom to shower, kicked the bedroom door and readjusted the little toe on my right foot so that it was pointing outwards at about 45 degrees (or 10 past 3 for MrRoly). Anyway, by 10.00am I’d been seen at minor injuries and sent home with it strapped and advised to wear supportive shoes.

Walking boots donned and on with the day. First a training webinar - I have to do a recertification test for software next week - then a visit to a client before returning home to work all afternoon. More success in clearing the huge mountain of things, very very optimistic about it all now.

At 5.30 I stopped and ate my pizza in front of the telly while MrRoly went off to do their Scouts and the Boy churned laundry. Caught up on This Is Us on my own then more ‘It’s A Sin’. So good but so much sadness.

eta I’ve just checked last year’s blips and it was 10 May when I did similar to the little toe on my left foot, just without the jaunty angle. I think I might need steel toe capped slippers...
