Greenhouse cleaning day
A couple of hours spent up on the plot this morning, turning the ground where the purple sprouting was growing. A few more feeds off the one remaining plant then that will be it until next Autumn/ Winter I reckon. Dug another patch for planting the sweet pea plants. I need manure before I plant so better get my act together.
Back home I whizzed around with the vacuum plus a bit more housework. A heavy shower, then the skies cleared again. Grabbed a bag of crisps for an early lunch before heading over to George & Jean's.
Greenhouse interior cleaning today, but needs emptying first, George's bric-a-brac collection has to be removed. An old miner's lamp, battered metal teapot, redundant whistling kettle, a tin model airplane, & tiny chipped flower jug (Jean's late mum's) just a soupçon.
