Bug

We saw this incredible, pre-historic looking bug while relaxing poolside at a friends home this afternoon. There is no scale, as no one really wanted to put their fingers close enough to be photographed, but the body is about 7.5 cm long and its constantly moving antenna are easily three times that length. He was in the corner of a closet, so the angle is skewed and the lighting is unfortunately less than ideal. When I zoom in close, I can see the ribbed back and huge, crab-like mandibles (at least I think they are called mandibles). It looks like something out of a science fiction movie.
