Tick

This nasty little bug is a tick.  I removed it from my leg this afternoon using a tick twister having probably picked it up when I visited Latterbarrow or Barkbooth Lot a few days ago.  This is a considerable enlargement as the tick is about 1.5 mm long.  Ticks belong to the arachnid family and thus have 8 legs.  Speaking personally, I could manage very well without them!
