Blossom Time

My love hate relationship with this cherry that was in garden when we moved here 7 years ago continues, it's definitely on the decline and the space below it would be useful for larger projects. I want to build a small water feature, essentially a wet hole for frogs etc, certainly nothing as grand as a pond, plant a couple of small fruit trees and extend our non mow area which I am hoping to turn into a small (very) wildflower patch.

However for these few weeks of blossom that feels mean.
