Up High

Above Cwm Penmachno. Out original walk was stalled due to incredibly boggy footpaths through some woodland, it was a moss glacier. Anyway we turned round and headed in a different but previously walked direction. This pool is  near the long abandoned  Cwt-y-Bugail quarries high above Blaenau Ffestiniog and just on the top left of the photo is the right hand side of Snowdon. An absolutely cracking place to have lunch.
