Sally Mair - Loving life

Baa lambs!

A disappointing day today so far as the weather was concerned. There were sunny moments, as when I was in West Lothian with Ali this afternoon picking up Marvin , but it was cold and rather wet at times.
These lambs were taking shelter from the wind under the hedge. I didn't like to get out of the car and disturb them which is why the fence is in the picture. The first lambs I've seen this year and still quite tiny.
Other than that we had somebody round to estimate painting the house. He was very nice but I think it is more than a one person job.
I went to Tesco this afternoon and had some pictures of the wedding printed to make up an album for Colin's mum to have. They are lovely images and they look so happy. In spite of it not being the wedding our former wedding planner daughter had planned, it was a perfect day, a lovely intimate service, and the sun shone!
I picked up Ali after school and took her for a whooping cough (and other things) booster vaccine. Apparently all pregnant mums to be are given it. I remember well the scares about it when I was teaching and a young mum myself. I guess those young children are now the young mums and vaccine is a matter of course. Talking of which Colin had his 2nd dose of Pfizer today, I go on Friday.
This evening we had our usual on line bridge, a very pleasant way to while away an evening, and tomorrow is Wednesday, half way through another week.
Keep safe and well everybody. I'm stepping out - Ali and I had a coffee today in the Krispy Kreme doughnuts shop. There was nobody else there. See extra!
