Mt Wilson Again
I visited Mt Wilson recently, but a friend tipped me off about a garden that is rarely open, but was open today, so it was case of 'now or never'.
Dennarque is on 25 acres and was very much to my taste.
Along with the usual cold climate plantings of azaleas and maples there were mass plantings of tree ferns, hostas and hydrangeas.
Immaculately manicured and with four lakes, it was a real treat.
The main blip, however, is something I grabbed when leaving the town, and clearly isn't manicured, but has its own charms.
