Country Roads

We woke up to blue skies and decided to head out for walk around the southern "outskirts" of town. We headed made our way to Edradour via the Black Spout Woods and then made are way toward Donavourd, West Haugh and the main road into town. We took a detour up a farm track just before Donavourd and were rewarded with great views of the town and the surrounding hills. 

Just before reaching main road we past the ruined house which I'd blipped earlier. Sadly it is now in even a worse state of (dis)repair with the upper story almost gone.

We enjoyed lunch outside on our return but have since retreated inside as the wind has made an appearance.  The forecast is for rain tomorrow and sleat on Tuesday but dry on Wednesday when we are meeting LauraMuir for a walk.
