Birdsong

Another fine day and another afternoon spent in the garden, mainly weeding but also listening to birds and bees.

A shorter stroll today - a circular walk into town and book looking at gardens at listening to birds and bees. There is one tree where you can hear the bees whilst a good couple of "social distances" away. 

The extras show another of the painted stones which have been left around the town and willow statues from previous years which have been repurposed to say thank you to the NHS.

Today, sadly, also marked the day in which recorded hospital deaths from covid-19 passed 20,000, lives cut short and leaving grieving families and friends behind.
