Until Tuesday of this week I'd never actually seen Craigmillar Castle, despite living in Edinburgh for twenty seven years. And now, today I walked up to the top of the Berwick Law for the first time. It was great, it was blowing a gale, it was kind of freezing truth be told - but great!

I'd cycled out to North Berwick via a few zigs and zags en route to meet up with my partner who'd driven out. We had fish and chips, we had a wander round the harbour, we looked out to sea a lot - did I mention that it really was kind of freezing - ooh, that Easterly. Vicious it was.

But great!
