Joy and her hubby Ian always take in black coloured rescue cats as apparently this is the colour least likely to be adopted by most people.

They took 2 in last year, both senior ladies, who have settled in well and don’t act their age!

This is the smallest but eldest and most dominant of the two ... Ellie.

It was a chilly morning but we’d braved it and gone for a walk. The nearby tea shop was far too full for us to be comfortable so we went to sit in Joy’s garden for a recovery coffee. Ellie was keen to join in.
