Hokianga Harbour

Today’s blip is one last photo of the Hokianga Harbour looking beautiful in the early morning mist, with the sun just starting to colour the water and the clouds.  As we travelled back to Auckland, we stopped in Kawakawa for coffee and a visit to the new Hundertwasser Museum - an amazing building and a wonderful asset for the town. The extra shows some of the interesting artistic features around the building. We had a lovely conversation with a woman and her grandson visiting from Whangarei to take a ride on the vintage train.  She told us about the new Hundertwasser Arts Centre that is being built in Whangarei - an excuse for another little adventure I think.
