STRELITZIA

.....or Bird of Paradise.
Growing nicely on the street verge.

My friend Marie and I spent yesterday on Rottnest Island.  What paradise that place is - one of my favourite places.  A few photos in extras for you if you have time:
1. Terns jumping from the rock;
2. More Terns and making a hell of a racket - love them;
3. One of the lakes behind Karma Lodge and
4. A view of Little Salmon Bay where we had a swim.
We spotted four Osprey surfing the breeze when we were on the south eastern side of the island.  I've seen three on a previous visit so it was pleasing to see four this time.

It's been a busy week with Sophia and Isabella.
