Life In Wales

Brighton Life

I was up early to take Bobbie to the vets for a final check up on his ear, thankfully it's all ok now.

Then I drove to Sheffield Park to meet HeartFreek (see my extra) - it was so lovely to see her as it's been over a year, and we spent a few hours wandering through the gardens and the woods. The bluebells are coming out, but I think it'll be another couple of weeks before they're at their best. While I was there,  I received the phone call I've been waiting for, we've exchanged contracts and are definitely moving next Wednesday!

We said our farewells, and hopefully Tam and Mr W will come to Wales or we can meet half way somewhere and catch up with CharlotteJ too.

Tonight, I met up with Rose, Louise, Marianna, Amanda and Lette for drinks on the pier and we had a fun night as always, but it was actually very quiet on the pier so the bar closed  at about 7pm and we were asked to leave.  So we parted ways, and Louise, Marianna and I wandered along the seafront and we came across these people sat having a drink in the fishing quarter.  We got chatting to them and ended up offering to do the wedding photos for the two guys who are getting married at The Grand Hotel next year!   Totally random, and one of the things that I love and will miss about Brighton - the people you meet.
