Red Chair

Quite a stressful day, but this scene towards the end gave me joy. 

Earth Day. I do love this Earth, and the small corner of it where I've been placed. Wish I knew better how to look after it... Mike replaced the two leucenas that suffered in the frost with two of the maples Netty left in our care. 

Gratefuls:
- getting two parcels off to our kids; a complicated affair now England isn't in the European Community
- the post office lady ringing me up to tell me I'd left my keys there
- painting the extension of the gate Mike's finished, with the same red Hammerite I used before
