Funeral

Today we came back down from a hospital appointment in Lochgilphead and saw this wonderful hearse waiting outside St Margaret's church . I didn't know Angus whose funeral it was but my friend Snapper did . She was at the funeral and has uploded a wonderful blip and , in her usuual inimitable style , has left a hearty and heartfelt tribute to one of Lochgilphead's old characters.

I was told later that he had lived in our village before we moved there 25 years ago. Sadly we didn't have the pleasure of meeting him but another old character from the village told me this afternoon that it was always his wish to be "seen off " in a horse driven hearse.
