Camelia in The Rain

Isn't that a truly imaginative title ! Sorry I couldn't think of one.

Very damp here today and the camelia flowers are going brown almost as soon as they open. This bush belonged to an elderly neighbour who moved away to a care home . The new owners virtually destroyed the garden which had been lovingly cared for for almost half a century. I rescued this bush two years ago as they were throwing it into a skip. It didn't seem to thrive last year but I left it where it was and it has flowered this year.
