A low-key day, spent taking care of small things, visiting with Marti, helping m-i-l Ellie with some online accounts and eventually throwing up my hands and having I. help her much more effectively, playing with Felix and Boone, and enjoying the cousins’ chatter at dinner. That would be the girls’ chatter; D., outnumbered, slips away when he’s done eating.
