Nearly Twenty

An early birthday cake for niece Ellie tonight, who turns 20 in a couple weeks but is leaving soon to return to college. My mother-in-law (her namesake Ellie) baked a Texas sheet cake, which we had with chocolate ice cream.

Helped Ellie (the elder) with a few administrative things, like switching to a single cell phone line plan, and planting an azalea that had been sent to her as a gift. W. and his sister played some frisbee and Ellie (the younger) played us some bluegrass recordings at dinner. A colleague of brother-in-law Jason kindly brought over a lasagna. Tonight we’re due for some SNOW (in Tennessee! on the 20th of April!). We covered up the azalea.
