Birthday boys

The twins turned one year old today, and Manda brought them up north for a visit.  It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by so fast, remembering their tiny preemie bodies and seeing their strong, steady frames now.  These are a couple of photos I took today.  That's Sam looking joyful with Manda, and Max crawling over and under with a big ball in his mouth.  He is rarely without a ball in his mouth!
