St John on the hill..

On my walk home from afternoon tea with two of my new friends, I took a slight detour
to pass this field leading to my old castle school. No horses there today but the church still looking good at the top of the hill. Happy times!

Tea was great. We moved from a table in the shade to a bench in the sun and chatted away. The park where they live in lovely flats, provides a range of accommodation from bungalows to buy, flats to rent and nursing care when and if necessary. I think we should get on the waiting list!

Poor D had to visit our surgery nurse today. His finger had taken a turn for the worse and he is now on antibiotics. Back on Monday. He is fine though.

No results for Valerie today so a further wait but Neil’s consultant is very pleased with the procedure he had on Monday and it should make a difference to mobility and other post stroke changes. We’re all so pleased and grateful.
