Castlemilk fir

A great walking day with V completing the Magnificent 11 in reverse. We spotted this enormous Douglas Fir in the middle of Castlemilk woods, a vestige of the former Castlemilk House Estate. The house was demolished in the late sixties after it had been converted into a children’s home.
The sun was glorious with a stiff breeze keeping the temperature quite cool.
