Trelissick (NT)

I like Trelissick Gardens, well not so much the gardens but the walk down to the beach over open grassland followed by the more ‘atmospheric’ walk in the woods, part of which follows the Fal foreshore.
Paddy loved it he was like a young pup, which he his, not off the lead, he’s not ready for that, but on the extender lead. That means that when you play ball with him you need to anchor yourself when he takes off.
Coffee and cake marked a first external ‘eats’ together for Mrs S and I since pre Christmas.
Paddy is not fond of car travel so the aim is to build up his tolerance with a series of short trips.

I quite like these steps from the beach at Trelissick, obviously quite old and built at the same time as the wall. Later modifications mean there is a gateway one metre to the left of them.
