Bright green

The sun came out this afternoon very nicely, after a damp, drizzly morning. The sunshine was highlighting the green glow of the new crop in this field.

A bit further on in my walk I saw the young Horse Chestnut tree leaves you can see in my extra. For some reason they must have snapped off and fallen onto the ground. It was a bit sad to see them there. The leaves felt so soft and supple, it's a shame they didn't get to keep growing on the tree. I turned them over to show them the right side up too.
