No fire without smoke

Another slow start today, but beautifully sunny later on. I went down town to get a few things and while I was on my way to the North Pier to take  boat pictures I noticed billowing smoke coming out from the alley at the back of the Regent Hotel. A fire engine came up with its siren going, but I think it was probably just one of the staff setting fire to rubbish as they didn't stay long. Maybe after the other night the fireman had withdrawal symptoms!

After several false starts I got the cake iced this afternoon - I don't think I'll be setting up in business anytime soon!
