Big Hill Lookout at dawn

Stawell is a really nice small town on the edge of the Victorian gold fields. It's famous for the Stawell Gift, a foot race run over 120 metres with huge prize money. And it's also beautifully maintained with grand buildings all dating from the heyday of the gold fields.

Up way too early for my peace of mind,but the Rower was on a mission to blip a gold mine, and I was on a mission to blip anything else that took my fancy.

Big Hill is a lookout over the whole town, and is immersed in controversy, because the Gold Mine people want to expand into open cut mining, and expand into this area. It will ruin the lookout (of course), but on the other hand may well save the town, I can't imagine that it would survive without the mining to support it.
