Spring (again)

A local walk this morning. Warm and still, so the butterflies were starting to re-appear after the cold snap - mainly Small Tortoiseshells. I got three birds to add to my year list: Meadow Pipit, Willow Warbler and Wheatear. I heard and saw quite a few Curlews - always a joy to see and hear, especially so close to home. This is one of a pair foraging in the fields. 
I have had my moth trap out for the last few night, but last night was the first time in a while I've had some takers - just 6 of 3 different species.
