Mama Cardinal

Dear Diary,

I am on a roll with bird portraits in Auntie's Tree it seems.  I have been trying to get a picture of Mama Cardinal for days but she had eluded me.  Finally, she was in just the right place and sat still just long enough for me to make this portrait.  I especially like that she has her lovely crest up.  Most of the snow has melted, just some piles where it slid off the roof.  I hope today will see the end of it.
