Caught red handed

Slept ok......woke just after 7 but drifted off again until 8. Im finding waking up hard, insofar as I open my eyes and then the realisation hits......lay there for about 30 mins this morning before dragging myself up :-/

Put my scruffs on, sat in the summerhouse to eat my breakfast, then gathered up my gardening gloves, secateurs, trowel, fork and plastic trug and settled myself on the lawn in the front garden......the ground is rock hard! I worked away digging, cutting back and weeding.....two of my neighbours came to ask how I was doing, it was nice to chat a while. Managed to hold it all in....just one blub! Couldnt believe it when I checked my watch, it was 1.10, no,idea where that 3 hours went! Time for a bit of lunch......tuna jacket potato with a side salad.

Then back outside for another 3 hours.....have done two thirds of the front borders, but had to knock off, my hands, arms and neck were aching so. uch, having not done anything in the garden for 6/7 months! It is looking much better.....and it will be immaculate in time for Wednesday <3.

I tidied everything away then drove into town as I needed some fruit and veg...... got myself a coffee, sat outside to write my list, felt a bit sad :-(. Got everything I needed then headed back.

Put everything away then sat outside with my note pad, figuring out what I wanted to write on hubs flowers...have written both cards now.
It was whilst I was sat there that I saw the squirrel.....this isnt Sammy, this one is much younger. Now I know who the culprit is....ive been finding tulip heads snapped off on the ground.....this little devil snaps them off, then eats the centre of the flower and flings the petals and had the audacity to sit at the table to do it!!!!

I made thai green fillet beef with vegetables and rice noodles.......it was ok. I used a sharwoods spice mix....should have made my own as I usually do!

Ive had a G&T tonight, raised my glass to hub.... Im ok when Im out and about, but in the house its really hard. I keep talking to him, telling him things, it doesnt feel strange at all...might sound it lol!'
