Spectacular Spectacular

After a VERY quiet and well paced morning, met up with [visiting] friends at Dubai Mall... for dinner I hasten to add! They had been to the viewing platform 126th floor at Burj Khalifa. Lucky for them, we actually had a beautiful, clear day! Tickets booked a month in advance to get the sunset slot! We managed to get a table with a great view of the fountain, so enjoyed a few shows before heading over to Neos Bar on the 63rd floor of the Address Hotel.

This is the view you get from up there... if you have the right lens, it is the perfect place to get the entire Burj Khalifa in the frame, being within 300 metres of the building. See everything that's happening.

Awesome methinks... a definite stop on the tourist trail of Dubai.... our weekend has begun!

Should have said about yesterday's car as some of you hoped it was my new set of wheels... whilst I appreciate and love looking at "cool" cars like that, I wouldn't actually ever own one. Too impractical! :)
