Sally Mair - Loving life

All change

There's a lot going on at Haymarket these days. This is our new big city centre crane now the one at St James has gone. This construction on the corner of Dalry Road and Morrison street is I think shops on the ground floor and offices above. Looking at it, the beams seem to be very close together but I guess they are correct otherwise short people only need apply! I do wonder how much extra office place will be needed in the future as there is so much talk of people continuing to work from home.
Another lovely day today, I had my regular mammogram appointment today, so walked back home from Ardmillan in the dappled sunshine along the cycle track. So many flowers appearing everything looks so fresh and green too. It was lovely to hear all the birdsong as I walked. I think I saw a group of black caps but they moved too fast for a picture.
It was well after 3 when I got home so after a rest we headed off to see Ali. Lovely to see her looking so relaxed now the wedding is over.
We're treating ourselves to a Chinese takeaway this evening as we're both feeling lazy.
It's a Friday again so I'll put the link for the National Gallery Art Quiz in my comments. Eight out of ten for me this week.
Sorry, in all the wedding preparations last week I forgot to put the link.
Keep safe everybody now we can spread our wings a little more!
