2021 Monday — Sundown

Even though we’ve had quite a bit of wind recently, we have not had clear air. The moisture from the ocean’s turbulence has put lots of haze in our view. This evening we watched the sun retreat and then go down behind the Cayucos hills north of us.

I enjoyed a very fun late afternoon when I gathered with two girlfriends for “Happy Hour” at a local restaurant, Schooners. The three of us had met and became friends thru social media. We are all somewhat “newbies” to Cayucos. Joy and her hubby bought their Cayucos house in 2008 and still have a home in a suburb of Los Angeles. Debi and her husband purchased their Cayucos house in 2018 and sold their SoCal home. We bought our Cayucos house in 2012 and still maintain a home in SoCal. It was very enjoyable getting to know them. I did not, though, get a photo of all of us.
