greylag over Cley marshes

Out before sunrise to Cley to get my wildlife photo fix but although we knew the hides are still closed we were thwarted by the fact that they have also closed the paths to the ponds, a bit unnecessary I think. A path around the edge of the marshes was open to the beach and the first sun nicely lit this greylag as he flew over and also Cley windmill in the distance (extra). Before we returned home for breakfast and cappuccino from take Wells Deli we had a quick look on Kelling Heath for adders and was lucky enough to see one.
The next walk was along the beach at Holkham and back along the dunes and pine woodland. Norfolk has such big skies also indicated at the creek bridge, Stiffkey in extra.
