Thornham on a rising tide

Today was split into 3 parts returning to the apartment after each. This morning we discovered more of Wells that we hadn't seen before, we liked the coastal walk out of town through the old shipbuilding area. Back to the main street for an outdoor coffee and as you can see in the extras life is beginning to get back on Staithe St.
Int he afternoon we started a walk from Brancaster Staithe harbour, in extra you can see a typical view over the salt marshes and a pile of cockles left by the fishermen who mainly fish for whelks, crabs and lobster.
Back home to eat before heading for Thornham at sunset. I knew it was a Spring tide this evening and had heard that on high tides the marshes flood here around the coal barn, but nearly tonights high tide wasn't going to be big enough for that, impressive place in the evening light non the less. Whilst watching the sun go down we watched muntjac in the grasses, all sorts of waders and Lesley saw a marsh harrier go to roost whilst I was messing with camera settings !
